The Ship Inn wasn’t just somewhere to eat and drink. For many people, it was part of their lives, their celebrations and their special memories.
Robin and his wife had even booked The Ship for their wedding night, only to discover that it had closed.
His message reminds us just how much The Ship meant to people, not only in Surfleet Seas End, but across the surrounding villages.
